would you believe?

Today, in Wellington at 5.19pm there was a flipping earthquake - I was in a different city, a different island, the earthquakes are following me!

It was just a little one and it was quite funny. The Boss and I looked at each other in surprise and Di, who we were meeting with apologised.

Now back in Canterbury I need to unpack and repack for a couple of days in the mountains on the Alpine Faultline. That's a big, bad faultline, not like our little, local one. What do you pack for two days in the mountains at the beginning of spring? Totally out of my experience to date.

  1. Early spring or not it will be very cold. Thermals and wool.....several layers. Wool socks and good boots. Ski jacket and beanie. Have a wonderful time....it will beautiful up there....don't forget your camera :-)

    I also felt that earthquake..eek!!
