two weeks

from hell.
Really I mean it.

This week on Wednesday
I fly to Invercargill.
Thats the end of the world Invercargill.

We are relaunching the Rural Mentor programme.
Which means Louly and myself
will learn at the feet of Sal the master trainer of
future mentors and mentees
then we match them up.
Funtimes in Invers.

On Thursday night I fly home.

On Friday night I fly to Hamiltron.

On Saturday I am judging
at the Royal Agricultural Society annual conference.

I quite like RAS people.
They sure are passionate about their animal breeds.
I like people who like farm animals like sheep.
I like sheep.

On Sunday morning at 630am in Auckland
I pick up 9 Hawaiian kids and their 3 chaperone's
They are coming to Grand Final.
So if they are not to far way that means neither is Grand Final week.

That's scary.

I'm taking the Hawaiians milking at Jason's farm
on their first afternoon here.
Poor wee souls.
Then fabulous Kaye is having us all for dinner
including pav for desert.

Monday we are going to a horse stud and
Fonterra's Te Rapa milk powder plant.
They should be shattered by then.

But they better catch their breath real fast because the next day
we are going to Rotorua.
First stop is a Maori Trust sheep and beef block
followed up by hot pools
then on to hangi and a bit of culture.

Wednesday we will be hoofing it to Grand Final in Masterton.
It'll be a long drive but all good too.

I'm loving Wairarapa College for jumping in
and offering to billet the kids for four nights during Grand Final.

Young Farmers will be converging
on Masterton to celebrate everything that is farmer.

Be warned Masterton.

On Sunday we race to Wellington
stop at Te Papa,
jump on the ferry,
have fish and chips at Kaikoura
end up at my old haunt Lincoln Uni.
Go home, fall into bed.

Get up early, visit Christchurch..
yes there are still places to visit...
head to the mountains
throw some snow about,
grab a pie from the famous Sheffield pie shop,
visit seed factory,
back to Lincoln Uni,
have dinner,
make sure everyone is packed
fall into bed,
get up at 4am to get the kids to the airport by 5am.
Fare them well.

Go home and sleep for a month.

There's  a tonne of other stuff all the way through the week but I can't bare to think about it.

I'm tired,
I'm going to bed to prepare.

Nits.
