I'm sitting in the Koru Lounge thanks to my new mate Tony
after an epic two day conference.
Today was ok but yesterday!
Sheesh!
It was cold in the room,
the talks were pedestrian
and I had a headache.
Nicca was meant to come with me
but due to the massive snow falls in
well everywhere she couldn't get down her driveway.
I was able to get to the airport and my plane was hardly delayed.
This is what the airport looks like on a snow day....
I got to Auckland and found my datastick was out of credit
so you know that means I can't possibly work.
So I took a walk down to the waterfront.
Went to my marketing conference for the two days,
I got some worthwhile leads from it
but it was super hard work sitting there all day
listening.
Highlights were...
Brian Richards talk,
watching the floaty snow as it is
wandered past the hotel window,
having dinner with some fabo fellow conference going women,
hanging out at the airport Koru lounge with Tony and the fullas,
pretending to be a responsible adult in the Koru lounge
but really I was chatting on Facebook with Bub and
playing farmville.
It wasn't so bad really.
I was soooo glad to be home.
* It was Wednesday then but my flight got called and I forgot I started this post,
