Where it was warm enough to not wear a puffer vest
but still not that flash.
The boss and I went to meet Brian Richards and his team.
When I typed Brian Richards then (and then)
I hear a awe inspired sound
Not quite sure what your awe inspired sound is so
you just superimpose it as you need to there.
Brian Richards is a very cool guy.
(did you superimpose???)
He is pretty old but
he is a brand storyteller man of awesome reputation.
He has a whole stable of brand storytelling babies
(very young marketing peoples)
who write stories for a living.
But not story stories,
their stories are all about products and services
and ideas and thoughts and images
and film and colour and linkages
and the feel of things and representation
and heartstrings and gut instincts.
It was a cool meeting
in a cool office in Newmarket
in Auckland.
In two floors of offices everything was WHITE!!!
Seriously, seriously WHITE!!!
Kind of the sun reflecting off the sand on a beach WHITE!!!
Very stylish, very marketing,
a little headache inducing.
Result was super positive from the meeting
so watch this space.
Then I dropped the boss off at another meeting.
Drove to the airport
and chuckled to myself
as I passed a row of cars stopped at a red light.
They all had flags a top their cars
showing their support for "their" rugby team.
There was Fiji, Samoa, NZ, Tonga, France
all in a row.
So cosmopolitan is Auckland.
Not like here.
Here you support the ABs or not
and not tends to be England.
