rolling on

Apparently there was a 4.9 earthquake over Lyttleton way

at 3am this morning.

I jokingly said last week
I didn't feel anything smaller than a 5.5
and now I know it's true.

We get a good shake here
when the epi-centre is over at Lyttleton
but I slept like a baby last night,
burnt hand or no.

I'm assuming we also got a good shake
as the shockwave rippled outward,
but I wouldn't know.

I love sleeping
even though I wake up at 5.45am
without an alarm.

But this is my morning regime;
5.45am wake up
check both my emails,
ignore anything that comes in
but feel validated when it's something other than
word of the day or Meridian newsletter.
(though I am waiting on a reply that is beginning to annoy me that it hasn't come)
Read the news headlines on my phone.
Get up do Pilates for 20 minutes.
Go back to bed and pray and read my scriptures.
I'm using a Book of Mormon scripture lesson book at the moment
so I'm actually getting an understanding of what's going on.
It's only taken me 16 years to get that sorted.
Then shower, get dressed, eat steak for breakfast and go.

This all works except when I decide to do a load of washing and blog.
