Honestly how are poor people meant to stay healthy when a 1.5 litre bottle of sprite is on sale for $1.79, cheaper than a 300ml be far and B&E pies are the cheapest option around?
You know other than bring leftovers from home.
In real life my desk looks messier than that.
And it's not even the messiest desk in the office.
When the Boss comes to work after a few days out of the office he recoils at his office door for the mess he has in there - he says he can find anything but he is fibbing. Piles of papers all over the place and used lunch containers, so many that his son bought him a 100 pack of plastic containers for his birthday.
I think they have disappeared in his quagmire of an office already
But most of the stuff on my desk will go by tonight when I pack for National Committee meeting
there's no 'the' as a prefix on National Committee because we shorten it to Nat Com and/or inherenatly pragmatic and no use having a word if its not needed.

Nat Com is at Hanmer Springs this time - we have two away meetings each year.
I have 20 Young Farmers arriving to terrorise poor wee Hanmer for two nights.
Hope they have enough beer.
I am looking forward to the hot pools
even though I'll be missing a 25 degree Saturday here in mid-Canty
and you know that's nap time.
Geez Oti I'd never survive in Arizona!
No doubt I'll have some stories from Nat Com in the hot pools,
from the team building exercise we will be doing >:-(
and the crazy talk these people spin.
Ah good times.
oh yeah I forgot I was meant to post about an increase in traffic on my blog, v exciting I think.
If you are wandering by please comment so I know you were here, helps me with my obsessive checking on traffic numbers if there are words left. Nice ones preferably!
Young farmers...yumyum! Throw in hot pools and beer and I could get jealous.
ReplyDeleteI check you out daily, love to read about your life, I am Stef's (of My Daily Joy's) Mum. Look forward to your account of the meeting.
ReplyDeleteSara, I survive by staying inside mostly. It is getting cooler here at night though, and I love that. I would open my window at night, but we have a HUGE dairy farm a couple of miles away and a very large chicken operation close too. I think they flush the lagoons or something at night because it STINKS! Like the Bog of Eternal Stench or something. So I don't open my window :( Miss you!!
