want to post

but it's just too hard at the moment.

I've had two days off work this week and slept most of the day.

Most of our management team is broken in someway
from mandated stress leave to houses sliding down hills to snapped achilles
we are on a roll.

But life is getting back to normal.
I'll be off later this week to go to
Central Districts Field Days
in Feidling
(not a spelling mistake,
the town's namesake had an issue with the i before e rule).

It'll be good to be away and busy.
At the moment I keep watching the news about Japan.

When I watch the film of the earthquake hitting my tummy tightens
and I am reminded of what it is like, worse what is to come.
It's horrible knowing how it will be for them for a while.
It's like having a crystal ball and seeing their future.
Thankfully my one friend in Japan and his family are safe.

  1. It's wonderful that everyone is helping where they can, no matter how small the effort. That is what keeps a community and a country together. Good for you girl. Good luck, thinking of you...and that earthquake and tsunami in Japan just terribly awful...when I heard the tsunami was on it's way to NZ I said, no, that small country cannot take another disaster, glad to hear you might be safe after all...
